It’s a 2003 (I believe) Sun EZ-Sport Limited. Picked it up, plus a Zzipper teardrop fairing, for $100. Somehow fit it in the Prius.

V-brakes front and rear, 3x9 gearing. 20" front wheel, 26" rear.

It wasn’t even close to adjusted properly, and it rode quite nicely, when I test rode it. Although, for $100, I almost didn’t bother with a test ride...

I have one almost exactly like that but it has two rear wheels, so a trike. We call it a ‘tricumbant’, I’m not sure what it’s really called. It’s pretty cool but feels really weird when you turn. (It’s my father’s - he’s old and has occasional balance issues but loves to ride)

If it’s got two rear wheels, it’s a delta.

My other recumbent is a 2011 TerraTrike Path 8-speed, which is a tadpole trike (two front wheels). Lower down, but there’s some design flaws with it - I really don’t like the chainline (and they didn’t really think of how easy it’d be to derail the chain on an IGH with side loads constantly being placed on it), and the boom is far too flexy.

I’ve wanted a recumbent for years, but never took the plunge. We lived less than a mile from a recumbent shop for several years, so I’ve test ridden many styles. I always felt the BikeE was the easiest to ride since the steering was the closest to a regular bike. The strangest was a tadpole trike. There’s something odd about being that low going so fast

I really like the tadpole riding experience (my other recumbent is a TerraTrike Path), although I’m kinda annoyed by my specific tadpole’s design flaws.

Hence picking this thing up on Craigslist, to see how I like a recumbent bike. It’s easier to get in and out of my apartment, too...

It seems like you need a garage for a trike. I’ve seen some of them tout the ability to roll through a door as a design feature.

You can carry it on its side, seat cradled against your body, but... yeah, it’s annoying without a garage.
